Longstaffs of Mirfield, XUP507, was a Plaxton B45F bodied Albion Aberdonian, one of two delivered to Armstrongs of Ebchester in 1957. Longstaffs shared their sole stage carriage route, from Dewsbury to Mirfield, with Joseph Woods and Yorkshire Woollen District - offering a fascinating mix of buses. Longstaffs still operate the service today.
It is seen standing on the waste ground of what was once an extensive railway goods yard, now an inevitable retail park.
