Unique, Brighton UUF600, a Bedford SB3 with Duple Super Vega C41F body, new in 1958.
Southdown was not the only company to operate two tone green coaches around the Brighton area. Unique Coaches ran a small fleet of very smart coaches, their darker green shade being about the same as Southdown's, but their lighter shade was darker. Personally, I think it looked even better - a nice motor. I can just imagine its silky smooth petrol engine as it pulled away, and the faint whiff of fuel vapour inside.
