SUS375 was a Bedford SB8 with Duple Midland B42F bodywork which had been new to Garnock Valley Motors of Kilbirnie in 1957. Unfortunately, itís a poor photograph but it has been submitted because there donít appear to be any other photographs of this bus on the site.
Still wearing the livery of Charltonís of Acomb, it is seen in the yard of Tyne Valley Coaches at Acomb.
Alongside, is PUP625, one of a pair of B44F integrally-constructed Beadle-Commer TS3 buses which had been new to Northern General as their 1625/6 in February 1955, this one having been exhibited at the Commercial Motor Show in October 1954. They were unpopular and unsuccessful with Northern and were sold to Charltonís in January 1959. (A much better photograph of PUP625 in an even worse state, taken by Donald, is already on the site.)
