Edwards, Edwards & Navey (Independent Coaches), Horsforth OWT9K is seen in Wigan, waiting to depart on the road section of the National Coach Rally which will lead it to Blackpool. It was a Leyland PSU3B/4R Leopard with a Duple Viceroy C53F body new in April 1972.
No connection with the firm next door applies here. Despite the similarity of the livery and the moquette seating, the coach behind has no connection with Edwards, Edwards & Navey, it being NWW 164K, a Plaxton Panorama Elite II bodied Bristol LH6L of Robinson, Great Harwood.
