Irvine (Golden Eagle), Salsburgh HVA868D was an AEC Reliance 2MU4RA with Marshall B45F body new in July 1966, seen leaving Airdrie Bus Station for its home village.
Airdrie in 1974 seemed very different from the Baxter era gloriously covered elsewhere, but Golden Eagle provided some independent enjoyment, I'd previously travelled on this bus from Shotts Station. It ended life in Orkney, serving Peace, Kirkwall until June 1984.
