Rowes of Dobwalls, Cornwall were the owners of HDR408, a Leyland Royal Tiger with a Longwell Green C41C body. Built in 1953, it first entered service with the Plymouth Co-operative Society as their fleet number 531, and sold to Embankment Motors of Plymouth in 1961. In 1963 it was bought by Rowes (of Rowe "Hillmaster" chassis fame) who kept it until 1970 when it went to Deeble's of Upton Cross.
