Valliant-Cronshaw of Hendon was the 1965 amalgamation of Valliant of Ealing and Lewis Cronshaw of Hendon, two old established business which had become in common ownership. HCB946 was a 1957 Leyland 'Tiger Cub' PSUC1/2 with Duple 'Britannia' C41C coachwork which emanated from the Cronshaw fleet and still carried their pale cream and maroon livery when seen on the through coach service to Bexhill and Hastings at Eastbourne's Central Coach Station at Easter 1966.
