Plaxton Derwent bodies appear relatively rare in the Home Counties, but Chiltern Queens, Woodcote chose one as B47F for EUD256K their AEC Reliance 6MU3R new in March 1972. It's framed by early car park automation at the western end of their trunk service A to Wallingford and Reading.
The Didcot Station location was extended and renamed Didcot Parkway on 29 July 1985. The bus was of excellent Derwent quality and - combined with Chiltern Queens long life - sale into preservation was possible in August 1997.
