About to cross London Bridge is ETO585 a Leyland PSU5C/4R Leopard with a Duple Dominant C57F body new to Prairie, Uxbridge as ELN927T. It was acquired by Thomas, West Ewell (t/a Edward Thomas & Son) in November 1983 from T.U.R. Travel, London W.2 and re-registered in June 1985. It is seen here in a contract livery to operate for London Transport Tours and Charter which it retained until September 1986 when it received the Thomas name replacing the LT lettering.
Since registration plates do not distinguish between O and 0 Thomas had the plate arranged as ET 0585 for obvious reasons. The registration was later fitted, to a 1983 Leyland Tiger (WWA 303Y > 3163 VC > GAC 97Y > ETO 585) and then in August 2007, to P350VWR, a Volvo B10M-62 with Plaxton C50F body which had been acquired in November 2002.
