Runnalls' BVO22C was a Bedford SB5 with a Harrington C41F body and had been new to Barton Transport as their 1022 in August 1965. It is seen parked between trips at Penzance bus station.
John W Runnalls of Godolphin Moor in Cornwall traded as Primrose Coaches and operated a solitary journey from Great Work Mine into Penzance on Tuesday and Friday mornings, returning at lunchtime. The circuitous route via Balwest, Tresowes, Praa Sands and Perranuthnoe carried a restriction that passengers could not be picked up or set down on the main A394 road in order to protect the interests of Western National.
