This late model Bedford VAS5 (Leyland engine) AUP651L carries a Plaxton Panorama body. It was new to Weardale of Frosterly in 1973 and they sold it to a Devon firm some two years later.
It was found deelict in a field by the owner of Exmoor Coaches in 1997. Fully restored it was in service with them until 004 when it was sold to Blue Motors of Blackpool where it continues in service. The Plaxton body for the Bedford VAS was an amalgam of an Elite front on an early Panorama window layout.
