Vacuum Oil buses from left to right are three ex-Salford Leyland TD5s and an ex-Leeds AEC Regent. ABA623 was a 1938 TD5 with Leyland body, CNW909 with Roe body new in 1936, ARJ486 a 1939 TD5 with Metro-Cammell body and finally ABA622, another 1938 TD5 with Leyland body.
These were believed to be operated under contract by Victoria Coaches, Leigh-on-Sea. CNW909 was bought by them from the dealer North in March 1951 and lasted until it was burnt out on the 3rd March 1954.
