7309WU was new to Wild of Barnoldswick but is carrying fleetnames for Gaunt's Tours, but that operator is unknown to me and was not necessarily in Oldham. 7309WU has a centre-entrance body, which is not obvious but can be discerned on close examination.
David would welcome any information on the later history of the vehicle and its operators, also it seems to have subtle differences from the Consort IVs shown in John Kaye's excellent gallery.
This was taken in late 1972/early 1973 off Coronation Street in Oldham. This street was by this time a dead-end street off the end of Mumps bus station and the land was used by a coach operator called Devonways to store vehicles - it may have been an operating base but there were no facilities or maybe they also acted as a dealer as a variety of vehicles appear there, significantly in all sorts of previous operator's liveries.
