6242UM, of Taylor, London S.E.1. , was an A.E.C. 2MU3RV Reliance with a Plaxton Embassy C41C body which, when new in June 1961, had been hired by Wallace Arnold from Stanley Hughes (Dealer), Gomersal. It was in Kitchin livery when new, was licensed to Wallace Arnold (Devon) and operated in Devon.
Withdrawn at the end of the 1961 season, it passed back to Hughes and then to Wakley, Northop in October, back to Hughes in June 1965; to Brown (Crawley Luxury Coaches), Langley Green in October 1965; to Arlington (dealer), Potters Bar in February 1971; to Barnard & Barnard (dealer), London S.E.26 also in February 1971; to Taylor, London S.E.1 by June 1971 before passing to Horlock, Northfleet in April 1975 and to A.C., Gravesend in August 1975. It was seen in Byward Street, London displaying a revised grille.
