Browns of Helperby (near York), 419BLW, was an AEC Reliance with a Duple Britannia C41F body, new to Global, London circa 1960, and bought by Browns in March, 1965.
Thanks to John Kaye for this information. Brown's of Helperby are still a well known coaching company and recently celebrated their 60th anniversary in the business. In the 1960s they were a reliable supplier of vehicles for hire to Wallace Arnold for day excursion work, to get maximum use from vehicles and staff.
