This Park Royal bodied AEC Regent V, 240AJB, has a Park Royal body and was one of a number bought by the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority for staff transport at Harwell in 1962. This one was seen in Huddersfield in the mid nineties.
The livery may allude to another of the UKAEA sites at Winfrith in Dorset which is now decommissioned. Others may know more about this than I do and more information would be welcome.
The bus later ran for Liverpool Motor Services.
Another of the batch 243AJB has been preserved.
