Rossie Motors of Rossington were one of the many independents to run in the Doncaster area. 220AWY was a 1962 Daimler CVD6/30 with Roe front entrance body.
It passed to South Yorkshire PTE in 1980 and became 1160 in the PTE fleet. This was one of the last Daimler engined PSVs to enter service.
