Yorkshire Traction 694, EHE925, a Leyland Titan PD2/12 with Northern Counties L27/28R body, new in 1953.
Four of these (693/4/5/9) along with Yorkshire Woollen PD2/20/MCCW Orion ex-demonstrator UTF930 were loaned to Hebble during May 1968 when strengthening repairs to North Bridge in Halifax restricted the use of heavier vehicles. Five Hebble AEC Mk. V 30-footers were exchanged for these in the interim. Hebble's crews disliked them intensely, reckoning they were heavy, cumbersome and very slow. Here 694 is returning from Leeds on service 15 to Halifax where it would then connect with a single-decker which would operate the western half of the route 'over the tops' via Blackshaw Head to Burnley. It is seen here on a short-lived variation of the 15 & 28 Leeds routes that left the main road at the Bottomleys Arms, Shelf and passed along Shelf Hall Road and through Stone Chair, rejoining the main road at Shelf Roundabout.
