Yorkshire Woollen District 566, HD7849, seen in the old Maroon and Cream livery, leaves Chester Street in Bradford and waits to turn into Morley Street to head for Manchester on the Express service (X12) with the hinged metal plate folded down indicating that this is a duplicate bus. 566 was one of seventy-five Leyland PS1s with Brush B34F bodies new in 1948, twenty-four of which were rebodied in 1954/5 with M.C.C.W H30/26R bodies.
One of Bradford's FKY batch of Weymann Regent IIIs is climbing Morley Street whilst a line up of Wallace Arnold coaches with a Burlingham bodied one at the rear are outside the booking office.
