Yorkshire Woollen District 291, BHD210C, a Leyland Leopard PSU3/4R with Marshall B53F body, new in 1965 as 971, renumbered 291 in 1967, and again to 195 in 1971.
Seen approaching Halifax's Cross Field Bus Station along Cow Green whilst operating the direct Leeds-Halifax via the A58 route 23. Behind, contractors are demolishing the former Kings Head and one time Lord Nelson public houses and other properties prior to the construction of the Cow Green Multi-storey car park. Thankfully that hideous monstrosity, after being declared unsafe and out of use for many years, has itself recently been blown up (or I suppose blown down) and for the time being the site is now an open air car park - until someone can can up with an idea for another hideous monstrosity.
