Yorkshire Woollen District 216, DHD207, was an AEC Reliance with a Park Royal B43F body of 1959. Next to it is 152, OWT201, an ex-York-West Yorkshire (YDG88) Bristol K5G of 1939, rebuilt and rebodied in 1955 with this ECW H28/28R body. It was part of a batch of similar vehicles purchased in 1969 to cover a severe shortage of buses at this time.
Note the use of route letters, an echo of the former tramway route structure, known locally as the "Track" routes.
