Yorkshire WD number 2, C7577, one of four (with C7576 and two others unknown) introduced in 1913 to inaugurate the service from Ravensthope to Bradley. They also appear to have run between Cleckheaton and Scholes from 1913 as I have a picture of identical C7576 at Scholes dated 18 November 1913. The picture is taken in Market Street Cleckheaton, the buildings in the background being relatively unchanged to this day. The bus is a Daimler CC with unknown bodywork described by the PSV Circle as B30F which seems too much for this small body.
The bus is also recorded as being B18? after sale in 1921 to Everingham Bros Pocklington. However what is more interesting is that we have been debating this vehicle with a very different body in a picture we have decided is between 1918 and 1921 and taken in Mirfield. So was it rebodied rebuilt or a reused registration?
