A rear view of the replica tram body constructed on the chassis of 1950 Leyland PD2/3 661 HD8515 by Yorkshire Woollen in celebration of their 60th anniversary in 1963.
It is seen in the narrow access road behind the YWD office buildings in Savile Town, Dewsbury where it looks like some excavation of the original tram tracks has taken place although they have had to be highlighted with white paint. I'm not sure whether the tram carried fare paying passengers, but the conductor looks to be equipped with a Bell Punch machine. Members of the YWD brass band are seen alongside suggesting the photograph was taken at the end of the procession.
As yet I have not come across any better images of the tram or the procession.
