West Yorkshire SUG20, MWY231, was a Bristol LS5G with an ECW B41F body of 1955. As the side beading shows, it started life as dual-purpose for express services (EUG20). In 1969 it was sold to an Irish (Gaelic) football team.
The happy conductor was obviously amused to be having his photo taken, but was probably more pleased to be getting a free lift back to Roseville Road depot to go off shift.
