West Yorkshire contrasts - KDG26, CWX671, a Keighley-West Yorkshire
K5G of 1938 rebodied by Roe in 1950, with YDX221, NWU265D, a York-West Yorkshire Lodekka FS6B of 1966.
West Yorkshire took over the Corporation bus services of York and Keighley in the early 1930s under a joint management arrangement. Allocated buses had the Keighley and York names added to the fleet name, and the K or Y prefix to their fleet number. Here we see them taking part in the Skipton Festival of Transport - local territory for KDG26. Both buses are part of the Keighley Bus Museum fleet.
