Red & White RS1167, LAX111E, a Bristol RESL6L with ECW B46F body, new in April 1967

The picture was taken at the extremity of Red and White operation, at the Stoneleigh Club terminus in Porthcawl of the 172 route to Aberdare. This was a marathon route, taking 2hrs 15mins from one end to the other and with a lot of hill climbing on the way, including an 800 foot climb out of Aberdare.
