Wolverhampton 519, FJW519, a Daimler CVG6 with Brush H29/25R body new in 1949.
Seen at the Tettenhall turning point for service 1 at the junction of Wergs Road and Wrottesley Road, 519 was on driver familiarisation duties shortly before the trolleybuses were withdrawn on the last day of June in 1963. Despite some bodywork problems in later life, these rugged hard working machines gave long service.
The trolleybus replacemant buses were brand new Guy Arab V's with Weymann bodies, considered along with a second similar batch, to be the best of the 30' Arabs in the fleet.
