A short time was spent on this night watching buses leave the 1970s bus station here. I probably used railings to support my camera for this time exposure as I didn't have a tripod at the time. Western SMT's B1816, VCS370, a 1963 Bristol FLF6G with ECW H38/32F body, is on the 17 service which ran to Largs.
The destination isn't clear but my 1970 timetable shows all journeys in the evening working right the way through. There was a commendable last departure to Largs at 2310 which didn't reach its destination until 0035!
What looks at first like damage to the negative on the front grille surround is actually a hole which seems to be a feature of Western SMT's FLFs. Is anybody aware of the reason for it?
