Leeds Central Bus Station is the setting for West Riding 754, GHL303, which was a Leyland PD2/22 with a Roe L24/26R body new in 1954 and was one of ten with the gangway continuing through on to the platform to give a two step entry to the platform.
Note that the black square painted above the offside headlamp now carries the registration number. This was required by the Traffic Area Vehicle Examiner after he found buses with different registrations on the front from those on the rear because front panels had been put back on the wrong bus after maintenance work.
