Former West Riding BHL518C, a Bedford SB5 / Plaxton Embassy IV C41F, new in 1965, is seen here operating for D. L. Fox of Manea, Cambridgeshire, and still in its original owner's livery.
On the recent subject of cropping photos, here is I think a good example when even to crop sky, tarmac and grass to bring the bus to the fore would spoil the whole ambience of the scene. Pictured 'somewhere in Cambridgeshire', the wide skies and totally flat agricultural landscape typifies the area. Despite being from the hilly and often spectacular West Riding Pennines, I have always being fascinated by the simplicity of the countryside around this area, and find it very restful.
