Preserved ex-Western and Southern National 624, 338EDV, a Bristol SUL4A with ECW body new as B36F in October 1960. It's seen at Maiden Bradley during the Warminster Vintage Bus Running Day on a day off from its role as PSV with Weaver of Weymouth.
New with the Western National company, it served with both Western and Southern National and with the National Bus Company version of Devon General, always retaining fleet number 624. In March 1976 it became a playbus with the Mountjoy School, Bridport and so survived into preservation with Weaver, Weymouth with effect from February 1992.
At the time of the photo it's documented as newly restored to PSV standard (February 1997) for the related Weaverbus fleet and is believed to become B34F until "by 6/02".
In June 2000 it passed to another working operation, Cainey (Mike's Travel) of Thornbury, Glos, though believed to have ceased active use by 2014.
