West Monmouthshire 13, UWO688, was a Leyland Titan PD2/41 with Willowbrook body new in March 1959 and rightly well-discussed on SCT61.
Following road improvements, its later life was with new Massey L27/28RD body of June 1966. In this more normal guise it's seen on a damp day at the less-photographed end of the long Cardiff-Tredegar trunk route.
Ian Allan BBF18 recorded the bus as PD2/38, presumably in error, I had to consult the PSV Circle chassis list. Successor authority Islwyn took the bus in April 1974 but it only lasted until scrapping just over three years later. The photo also shows two Red & White Bristol Lodekkas, the older one appears to be L560, 5AAX, new in October 1960 whose registration survives on a present-day Holmeswood coach.
