Warrington Corporation bought East Lancs bodied Leyland Titan PD2/40s as standard until the dawn of the rear engined era. The 1965 examples were classed as Leyland Titan PD2/40Sp (for special) as they were only 7ft 6ins wide to get through the narrow streets of the town centre. 43, BED724C, is seen at the 75th anniversary rally held in 1978 by Lancaster City Transport.
