United L5, WHN705, sits at the terminus at Corner Café in Scarborough. This road is known as Peasholm Gap and the Corner Café building is on the other side of the road.
The mere was where the "Pirate ship " took us unsuspecting toddlers to dig for "treasure", on treasure island. I remember getting my hand stamped with the skull and crossbones and not wanting to wash it off. Not I hasten to ask on the above visit! The treasures by then were running on the roads.
