In 1979 West Yorkshire had a severe vehicle crisis and to help offset this a number of United single deckers were bought. One of these is seen in West Yorkshire's Leeds bus station. Originally R272, RHN272F, in the United fleet this 1968 Bristol RELL6G carries "local coach" dual purpose livery with 50 coach seats in a bus shell.
Visible next to 1405 is 1120, PHN201F, another former United machine but this time a 1967 Bristol RESL6G originally United RS1
