A rear view of South Midland 824, FRP839, seen on one of the loading bays at Victoria Coach Station. This was a Bristol LL6B with an Eastern Coachworks FC37F body new to United Counties in 1951.
It had been rebuilt by E.C.W. In June 1951 after a fire. Nine of these were acquired from United Counties in January 1959 and they had 8' 0" wide bodies on 7' 6" wide chassis but had been fitted with wider axles in 1952.
