A fine selection of Trent AEC Regals and a solitary Leyland Tiger Cub 366, FCH16, in the dock bay at Central Works. FCH16 was the first bus I ever worked on in 1962.
The top hat style items in the bottom left were 'Bottle Jacks' used to support buses when the wheels were off. The cans hanging up are to put parts in to soak in the Trichorlethylene tank, a fiendish device which worked wonders with metal parts but could put you to sleep if you hovered over it long enough- H&S?
