Todmorden J.O.C 24, KWX17, a Leyland Titan PD2/12 with Leyland L27/26R body, new in 1951.
Already carrying its intended fleet number 355 in anticipation of the takeover by Calderdale J.O.C. on 5th September 1971 it was repainted in green, orange and cream and transferred to Halifax, becoming a Training Vehicle in 1974 and passing to the West Yorkshire P.T.E. as 3355 in 1974. It was withdrawn about 1976 and sold for scrap.
Seen here in Cheetham Street, Hebden Bridge - the gloomy back street frontier terminus where T.J.O.C buses met up with the Halifax J.O.C. ones operating through from Brighouse via Halifax on routes 48/49. It is bound for Todmorden then continuing to Summit - just over the Todmorden boundary on the Rochdale Road where it would similarly meet up with Rochdale Corporation buses with a further exchanging of passengers.
