PWR989E was a Leyland PDR1/2 with Roe H41/29F body new as South Yorkshire Road Transport, Pontefract 89 in September 1967 and is seen in Leeds at the northern extremity of their important stage network.
This and identical 88 are claimed as the first Atlanteans delivered to any small West Yorkshire independent operator.
It was however sold for scrap as soon as November 1978, three months after 88. This slide represents half of my SCT61-valid UK photos taken in December and unrelated to any special event. Like many members I kept the camera at home on cold dark days and had light problems evidenced here on low sun bright days. Hindsight says some snow shots would have proved interesting though!
