This picture shows former Southend PD3 347, MHJ347F, at the North Weald Rally in 1996 - the bus served as a driver trainer for many years with Plymouth Citybus but was then acquired by an Essex preservationist.
It was sold on again by the preservationist without any restoration work done to Rochford-based operator Stephensons Coaches, who repainted it cream and placed it in store. It has recently (late 2003) been sold to Mark Howarth, owner of Western Greyhound, for continued preservation - he also has ex-ENOC FLF EOO590.
