A photo recently acquired by David shows former Southend Massey bodied PD2 292, LHJ394. This was the only one of the batch of 12 delivered in 1955 that saw further service (with Paton Brothers, Renfrew) and the photo was probably taken after its time with Paton's. Can anyone date and locate it ?
The PSV fleet history records it as "to Sykes (dealer, Barnsley) 10/71, later to Paton Brothers Limited, Renfrew 12/71, licensed 1/72, to Lister (dealer, Bolton) 8/72, to another Blackburn dealer 10/72, returned to Lister and to Rollinson (dealer, Barnsley) 12/72 for scrap" so its life after Southend was not particularly successful.
There's a photo here of 292 with Patons.
