Standerwick 18, SFV414, a Leyland Atlantean with Weymann CH34/16F body, new in 1959, one of 33 double deck Atlantean coaches delivered to this Ribble subsidiary between 1959 and 1961.
The destination proudly displays "via Motorway", perhaps hurrying for the passengers to see Frankie Vaughan, Tommy Cooper and Cilla Black at the London Palladium.
SFV414 stayed in the Standerwick fleet until 1971 when it was withdrawn.
