Later on the final day of Southend PD3 operation, Richard Delahoy produced a commemorative headboard (which had earlier been used on a farewell tour, hence the odd spacing of the date - it had previously said April 26th).
Covering the same short working from Central Bus Station to Newington Avenue as in an earlier photo, 347 is at the latter point late in the afternoon of July 31, 1981.
