At the very end of their lives with ST, a regular duty for one of Southend's East Lancs PD3s was an early evening peak short on the 6 (then mostly operated by Eastern National) from Central Bus Station to Newington Avenue and back, before going to Rayleigh as a 1. A few weeks before the farewell day 347, MHJ347F, departs from the bus station.
