Southend buses carried very comprehensive blind sets but occasionally service changes challenged the equipment, as 347, MHJ347F, demonstrates here on the 22C, a sometime variant of the core 22 group from Hullbridge to Shoebury.
The bus is standing at the traffic lights in Chichester Road, under the LTS railway line bridge; we know the bus is waiting as the red of the traffic light can be seen reflected in the front window next to the paper route number sticker.
