Southend Corporation Transport
Bridgemasters and Lowlanders

Southend Bridgemaster 319, WHJ430 - not a brilliant picture of 319 but included for its nostalgic view of my bike. In the background is the railway bridge with the central reservation which the trams used to run along - the bridge was reconstructed in 1914 but then it was discovered that there was not enough headroom so the track bed has to be lowered - services finally started on 16th July 1914.
