John Boylett Memorial Collection Part 1
Two Southend Leyland Titans with Massey bodies, 277, HJN837, a PD2/20 new in 1954 with behind 294, LHJ396, a PD2/12 from 1955/6.
The bus stop was shared by the two main routes to Shoebury at the time, the 5a and the 7, and while it may look quiet in the photo, at busy times it was chaotic as a large single queue for both routes turned into chaos as one bus on each route arrived at the same time.
