Four of the second-hand AEC Regents brought in the 1940s, parked in the Corporation yard ready for disposal, probably in 1952. They are 248, 250 (ex-Leeds UG1030/UG1033), 246 (ex-Nottingham TV6747) and 249 (ex-Leeds UG1032).
Note that 250 has had its rather dated front profile altered by rebuilding, presumably after accident damage. This must have been done by Southend, as a photo exists of it soon after purchase by Southend with the original style of front.
