Bodybuilder's pre-delivery photo of Southend Corporation 152, JN822, one of a batch of seven AEC Regals with English Electric B30D bodies, new in March 1931, although they didn't enter service until the following year.
At various times during the 1930s, JN822 was rebuilt to B32R, fitted with a Gardner oil engine and renumbered as 202. It was withdrawn in 1939 with 5 others in the batch to be used as wartime ambulances - click here for fleet details.
