Southampton 361, BTR361B, is one of a large batch of Regent V 2D3RA chassis with H37/29 bodywork, delivered in 1963, 1964 and 1965.
The sources of bodywork are in question, however. MacFarlane-Watt's history of the fleet says East Lancs while the PSVC list of preserved buses shows her with Neepsend. I know that some Southampton ones had Neepsend bodies, and MacFarlane-Watt details them, but what's the reality in this case? Some of the 1964/5 vehicles, of which she is one, arrived too late to receive their booked "...HCR" plates. BTR...B or BOW...C were fitted instead. She is in Above Bar Street, almost opposite Ogle Road, and is about to turn left into Pound Tree Road, while on a service to Royal Pier.
